We’ve been to a lot of afternoon tea appointments not only here in Victoria, but across Canada and still none quite compare to The Fairmont Empress. Without sounding too much like a Fairmont fanboy(as I tend to), you’re going to experience something on another level in both atmosphere and tasty treats. The experience seems to help you forget that time exists as you can easily enjoy the company for hours on end. This is a tradition eleven decades running and being in one of the world’s greatest hotels we’ll see it continue for eleven more.

Since 1908 people have been coming here to unwind, enjoy the view and of course the tea. The Fairmont Empress crew have recently launched a special Instagram page dedicated to just the tea life that exists here so take a look and have a follow if you’re a fan.
