28 Sep Fogo Island Inn’s Most Expensive Room: The Flat Earth Suite
The Fogo Island Inn has certainly made an impact on Canada’s reputation to do eco-luxury on a level not really seen anywhere else on the globe. While mostly everyone writes about the unique style of architecture and the views here, I wanted to talk about The Flat Earth Suite. Hailed as the “Captain’s Quarters”, this lavish suite is a good as it gets on Fogo Island and we absolutely love it.
The two-storey suite has 1,100 square feet of living space and if suited for up to three guests. As you can see, there is no shortage of a view from just about every step in The Flat Earth Suite and you wouldn’t want it any other way. I would have provided more pictures but there are not many which isn’t a bad thing because the wow factor for seeing this place for the first time is a big deal.
Most of our client’s who have stayed here always mention how amazing it was to take in the views while you were nice and cozy in the soaker tub by the window. I also love the wood stove, it really makes staying here in the winter all the more fun.
Never heard of the Fogo Island Inn before?
Off the coast of Newfoundland sits the tiny but beautiful Fogo Island which is home to many amazing people, places and tranquil ambiance. The Fogo Island Inn is a unique luxury hotel with a setting unlike anything else on the planet. If you’re looking to escape somewhere quiet, relaxing and one with nature then I’d take a serious look at getting here. The dining is world class, there are too many things to do so view the list and be blown away.
How much does a night cost you in The Flat Earth Suite? Well that depends on a few factors but price is upon request as they like to keep it so. To give you some hint, it’s around $4000 CDN per night with a few perks so just summon our concierge to find out what we can do for you.
